  • The public is invited to view graduate student concepts related to further development in Rio Rancho‚Äôs City Center area at Rio Rancho City Hall from Dec. 3-17. A special event with the students will take place on Dec. 3 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • The Rio Rancho/Sandoval Recycling Center will be closed Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
  • City of Rio Rancho offices and facilities will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
  • Every year at this time, members of the Rio Rancho Police Department hold a canned food drive
  • The Rio Rancho Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, Pet Food Gone Wild, and various rescue groups are sponsoring the 3rd Annual Holiday Pet Food Drive and Adoption Event on Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cabezon Community Center
