The Rio Rancho Fire and Rescue Department is hosting their 9th Annual Fire Station Open House and Halloween Costume Contest on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, from noon to 3 p.m. at the city's main station located at 2810 Southern Blvd.
The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is assessing whether all of the public, developed parks it operates and maintains should become dog friendly (dogs allowed if on leash). The department is seeking citizen input through a survey.
